President & Chief Executive Officer
Mr Feringa was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Team Tankers International on September 1st, 2015. Mr Feringa has extensive knowledge of the global shipping industry. In 1996, he joined Stolthaven Terminals and held various positions of increasing responsibility within the Stolt-Nielsen organization before his appointment in 2007 as President of Stolt Tankers, a division of Stolt-Nielsen Limited. As President of Stolt Tankers, Mr Feringa headed the Company’s strategic and growth initiatives. Prior to working for Stolt-Nielsen, Mr. Feringa was the Commercial Director of Van Ommeren's Tank Terminal at Botlek, Rotterdam. Mr Feringa holds a BSc in Oceanography and received an MBA from Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University in the Netherlands. During his career, Mr Feringa has resided in The Netherlands Singapore and the United States. He is a Dutch citizen and resides in Connecticut, USA.
Jens Gisle Schnelle,
Chief Financial Officer
Jens Gisle Schnelle joined Team Tankers International in August 2011, and was appointed Chief Financial Officer on July 10, 2019. Mr. Schnelle previously held the position as Head of Financial Planning and Analysis and was primarily responsible for strategic initiatives and managing financing relationships. He has 9 years of shipping experience in a variety of managerial and analysis roles. Mr. Schnelle holds a BSc and MSc in Business and Economics from BI Norwegian Business School. Mr. Schnelle is a Norwegian citizen.
Vice President, S&P and Chartering
Mr. Obling joined Team Tankers International in August 2014 as Vice President, Business Development and was promoted to Vice President, S&P and Chartering on August 23, 2016. Mr. Obling has more than 20 years of commercial shipping experience as manager, broker and charterer from international Shipowners and Shipbrokers in Denmark, Germany and Singapore. Previously, Mr. Obling worked as Director and head of d’Amico in Singapore. Prior to that he worked for Torm in Copenhagen and Copenhagen Tankers as General Manager Chartering from 2000 to 2005. In addition Mr. Obling has experience as a broker with Maersk Broker in Copenhagen and Frachtcontor Junge & Co in Hamburg. He was educated at Randers Business School and holds a Diploma in Marketing from Lyngby School of Business, Denmark. Mr. Obling also has a degree from Asian International Executive Programme at INSEAD Singapore. Mr. Obling is a Danish citizen residing in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Malene H. Pedersen,
Vice President Human Resources
Mrs Pedersen joined Team Tankers A/S in June 2010 as Head of HR and Administration after serving as HR and Administration Manager in Camillo Eitzen Denmark since 2006. Previously, she worked with Ernst & Young and Borealis. She is an examined coach and holds a degree in Marketing & Economics as well as diplomas in strategic Human Resource Management and Strategic Change Management. Mrs Pedersen is a Danish citizen residing in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Vice President Fleet Management
Captain Vilson joined Team Tankers International in April 2018 as Vice President, Operations and was appointed Vice President Fleet Management in July 2019. He has over 40 years of experience from different roles in shipping both onboard ships and in executive positions ashore. Captain Vilson sailed until 1992, the last years as the captain of chemical tankers. He was the Chief Operating Officer of Laurin Maritime for the last 20 years and located in the USA. He holds a Master Mariner in Nautical Science from Kalmar University in Sweden and a Diploma in Commercial and Operational management from Chalmers University in Sweden, he is further a certified arbitrator and have been the Chairman of Intertanko Vetting Committee and currently an Intertanko council member and a member of the Intertanko Executive Committee. He is an international recognized speaker and the honorary Chairman of Shipping Insight and a board member of different companies.
Mr. Tim Addis-Jones joined Team Tankers International in February 2019 as General Counsel. Mr. Addis-Jones has more than 30 years of experience in the field of maritime and commercial law having been called by Gray’s Inn as a barrister of England and Wales in 1986. After qualification he joined Sinclair Roche and Temperley, a leading maritime firm of solicitors, becoming partner in 1997. Further, in 2005, Mr. Addis-Jones accepted a position as in house counsel in Rotterdam, Netherlands with Stolt-Nielsen Limited where he dealt with a multitude of legal and commercial issues arising in their tanker, terminal, tank container, gas, and bitumen divisions. Educated at Cranleigh School in Surrey and Manchester University he obtained an LLB in law and his professional qualifications at Bar School in London. Mr Addis-Jones is a British citizen.
